About
Carol Rixey Sullivan was born and raised in Indian Hill, Ohio—the Cincinnati area. Every summer the Rixey Family packed the car and headed north to the family cottage. Summers spent in Northern Michigan consistently delivered memorable experiences—just as they do today! She earned a Bachelors degree in English Literature from Davidson College in North Carolina, and spent time living and studying literature in Ireland.
Carol’s professional career began in the dental field; consulting and managing private offices with a focus on leadership, service and marketing. She gained experience in small business consulting and property acquisition, then transitioned full time into real estate in Charlevoix, Michigan. She continues to build a career based on clear communication, client care and consistent follow through. Today she is a well-respected real estate broker in the community, and serves on City Council’s Short Term Rental Appeals Committee.
Carol lives in Charlevoix where she raises her two high school aged children, Jack and Ellie. Traveling, boating, hunting, fishing, and skiing are a few family favorites. Northern Michigan is one of the greatest places in the world to raise a family and call home!
“From the beginning stages all the way through closing and beyond, she will be with you every step of the way. She is very knowledgeable and professional. She listens to your goals and gives you insights along the way that only a seasoned pro could. Highly recommend!” —Rachel Mason
