Don Toffolo and his wife Gail were born, raised, and educated in Detroit, but they always knew they wanted to raise their two children in a smaller community.
And so, since August of 1972, the Toffolos have played an active role in the Boyne City community, and Don’s employment portfolio is packed with successes as a retail store owner, a sales and contract manager for Aerospace at a local manufacturer, and finally as a REALTOR®.
After his first “retirement,” Don earned his real estate license, and started selling real estate in Charlevoix, where he stayed for 10 years, specializing primarily in Charlevoix and Emmet counties. But in May of 2005, after 2 years of planning and talking, Don and his friend, long-time real estate agent Pat O’Brien, opened a new office in a beautiful location in downtown Boyne City, and Pat O’Brien and Associates came into being.
Don’s love of his adopted home and the diversity of his relationships with the business and local communities make him well suited to the real estate business, and especially an asset to Pat O’Brien and Associates and the Charlevoix, Antrim and Emmet counties real estate markets.
“Each of us finds something up north that draws us to the area,” Don said. “The natural beauty of the area, numerous fresh water lakes, small town atmosphere, challenging golf courses, fine Midwest skiing, and four-season charm.
“Let my years of background experience in this wonderful area help you to sell or locate your real estate requirements – be it lake front, residential, rural, vacant or commercial.”
