Sarah grew up in Boyne City, getting to know Northern Michigan’s lakes, rivers, hills, forests and people. She graduated from Grand Valley State University with a bachelor’s degree in humanitarian environmental science and ceramics. After starting a family in East Lansing with her lifelong partner Joshua, also a Boyne City native, moving back north seemed like an easy decision. They relocated to Boyne Falls in 2004.
With their two beautiful daughters, Gwendolyn and Clementine, they bought a house in Bay Shore in 2006, a place at the center of three beautiful communities; Petoskey, Charlevoix and Boyne City. There is absolutely nothing better than raising children in northern Michigan.
While working in the service industry for more than 20 years, making friends with strangers has become habit. Sarah has volunteered at the Tip of the Mitt Watershed Council, Little Traverse Conservancy, Petoskey Schools, and she currently serves on the board of the Northern Michigan Shores Association. Sarah also enjoys working at Bier’s Inwood Brewery in Charlevoix, spending time with family and friends, and traveling.
In Northern Michigan, I found “my people”, let me help you find yours in one of our gorgeous communities.
