231-582-1700949-413-0153Born and raised in “Surf City USA,” Taylor grew up near the beaches of southern California where sunshine and palm trees were part of everyday life. In April 2018, Taylor moved to East Jordan where her husband Jim was born and raised. She quickly realized the differences between big city and small town life. In 2019, she bought a coffee shop in the heart of East Jordan and Iron Goat Coffee was born. Today, the shop is a vibrant gathering place for locals and tourists. In 2024, Iron Goat expanded with a second location in Walloon Village.
In 2023, Taylor joined Team O’Brien as a Realtor. As a local business owner, Taylor offers clients real perspective on business, as well as residential moves. Whether it’s securing a good home, an investment property, or preparing to sell, count on Taylor for guidance, clear communication and diligence to realize your real estate goals.
Taylor attended Cal State University, Fullerton where she earned a Bachelor’s in Communications and a Master’s in Public Administration with a concentration in Public Finance. She worked for the County of Orange with directors and the Board of Supervisors to construct a $35M animal shelter, a $127M street connection project, and solutions for homelessness. Taylor volunteers as the Chair for Communities in Schools of Northern Michigan. She also serves on the Board of the Women’s Resources Center of Northern Michigan, and the East Jordan Downtown Development Authority. Taylor enjoys boating, family sporting events, traveling, and discovering new four-season activities in Michigan.
