Welcome to Fall Road and your 30 acres of mixed hardwoods and cedar swamp with every few feet a different perspective of different plant life. The forest is home to deer, bear, turkeys, ruffed Grouse, woodcock, coyotes, bobcats and raccoons. Enjoy the many song birds like cardinals, woodpeckers and many warblers. There is a dry lake in the back part of the property that when spring comes fills up and regenerates the swamp and brings it to life with the tree frog singing and wood ducks and mallards building nest in the spring. The swamp is alive with wildlife as they come out after a long winter. In June you will see the fawns with their mothers walk right by you. Such a glorious sight. In the fall the maples become ablaze with red, orange and yellow leaves. The deer start moving as they get ready for winter and the rut starts in November as the big bucks move into the property. There is one huge buck that the see crossing the road into the property. In the morning you will be waken by the sound of pileated woodpeckers hammering on a dead tree. At night you can hear the barred owls and great horned owls hooting. Also the coyotes will wake you up from a dead sleep when they start howling.
