Charlevoix Office - Bridging the Lake

Pat O’Brien and Associates Real Estate dominates Lake Charlevoix waterfront real estate sales, and also inland real estate sales throughout Charlevoix County. Founded by Pat O’Brien in 2005, and located in Boyne City, this small independent office has had great success in its field. In 2015, when Pat decided to open a second location to better serve Charlevoix County, the city of Charlevoix was an obvious choice.

Charlevoix the Beautiful. Pronounced “Shar-la-voy” and aptly nicknamed, this lovely small town is home to a few more than 2,500 full-time residents, but a favorite destination for countless visitors in all seasons, but especially in the warm months, when its streets are colorful with shoppers and sight-seers.

Located on the shores of Round Lake, an extension of Lake Charlevoix that exits into Lake Michigan via the Pine River Channel, Charlevoix serves as the area’s waterway to the world. From the spectacular marina, to the renowned bridge, to the exquisite architecture of Earl Young, Charlevoix is both historic and timeless.

Originally located on Bridge Street in downtown Charlevoix, our office succumbed to a fire on Christmas Eve, 2016. As Pat and Charlevoix managing broker, Mark Snyder, searched for a new location, they decided to reach out to an existing Charlevoix real estate brokerage and ask about a merger. Long story short: That question was met with a resounding yes! and Pat O’Brien & Associates acquired six awesome new agents, three highly competent staff members and beautiful new offices located at 701 Bridge Street just south of downtown.

So if, as you stroll the streets of downtown, filling your senses with beauty – the lake, the river, the Great Lake, the famous petunias, the architecture – or scents – the fudge, the cherries, the apples, fresh-mown grass and fresh-fallen snow – or sounds – the waterfront band shell, the music venues that line the street – you realize your heart’s home is here, call us.

We never get sick of the sights and sounds ourselves. We’d love to show you around. The lovely ladies below will be happy to help you - meet Gil, Marrietta, and Amy!
