Matt had the great fortune of being born and raised in Boyne City.

Growing up he fell in love with the multitude of activities and amenities that make Northern Michigan such a remarkable place, all four seasons. It is because of these opportunities that he, and his wife Kelly, have chosen to raise their three children in the area. If three kids were not enough, the two also own a restaurant, Bella Vita; a name chosen because it translates to “Beautiful Life.”    

A passion for skiing and snowboarding led Matt to employment with Boyne Resort as a teen. After a “ski bum” season in Big Sky, then attending Northern Michigan University; he returned to Boyne Mountain and was offered a position with Boyne Realty where he began his career as a REALTOR ®.

Matt brings 14+ years of resort/vacation real estate sales and development expertise to Pat O’Brien & Associates. His passion and knowledge of the area, along with his love for the Northern Michigan lifestyle, make him an asset as a real estate agent. Whether you are seeking a vacation property or someplace to call home, Matt works passionately and diligently to get to know you and your needs, to help find your perfect property.
